Text Box: The Mulga Bill Festival - Yeoval NSW

Mr and Mrs O’Halloran lived in the main street of Yeoval for 40 years next to what's now Buckinbah park. Both were community minded and participated in the towns organizations and activities

Mr O’Halloran was the Yeoval Saddler, Bootmaker and Gunsmith. From the estate the Yeoval Historical Society with a loan of $50,000 from the Cabonne Council purchased the shop front and residence.  This has now turned into the Yeoval Historic Family Museum.  The  building was opened in 2007 by Mr Colin Munro, retired Head of ABC Rural Dept.  The Museum is going from strength to strength and is soon to be extended.

Painted inside and out with a grant from the Cabonne Council and paint donated by Dulux Paints, the museum stands proud in the main street housing family history hand made articles and memorabilia - it’s well worth the visit.

Extensions will be completed by July for the 2010 Mulga Bill Festival.

The museum would love to see you. It is open on the 1st and 3rd Saturday mornings of the month or by request anytime.
