HAVE YOU SPONSORED A TREE YET? GREAT FOR THE PROJECT—GREAT FOR THE ENVIROMENT
The Banjo Paterson Bush Park has been established along the banks of the Buckinbah Creek, extending up towards the Yeoval township. The land, which is owned by the Crown, is in trusteeship to the Yeoval Historical Society and has been cleaned up and developed into a park with shelters, picnic area and car park. Toilets are now being planned and expected to be in place by the end of 2008. The whole project has been financed though grants from Waratah Fencing, Australia Post, Keep Australia Beautiful, Cabonne Council and Arts Out West, as well as sponsorships of trees from private individuals in the parklands. If you would like a tree in the Banjo Paterson Bush Park – to honor Banjo Paterson, to be in memory of a loved one or to be in your family name, please contact us. We have already have 203 sponsored trees, but we need more to finance and fund the project. Tree sponsorship costs $135 per tree. You receive the planted native tree, tree guard, concrete pillar, plaque and life time care. The trees along the Poets Walk on Buckinbah Creek overlooking the meandering creek are ready for sponsorship. Please help if you are able.
