FEATURE VILLAGE - MANILDRA
Make your way through Cabonne - visit other villages and attractions - but make sure you return for the Free Sausage Sizzle sponsored by the Manildra Group and followed by the Essential energy Monster Fireworks display.
Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th March
Drive through Manildra, marvel at the largest Flour Mills in the Southern Hemisphere. Enjoy the Railway and Mill Museum, climb up the observation platform to see the train movements. Call around to the Amusu Theatre and see their Movie Poster Museum and then enjoy lunch. Bring the kids and bikes at 4 pm for push bike competitions and safety tips at the Jack Huxley Oval followed by a free sausage Sizzle sponsored by the 'Manildra Group' its open to everyone - visitors and locals alike, then followed at 7:40 a huge Monster Fireworks sponsored by Essential energy. The Amusu Theatre screening at 8:15pm will finish off a perfect day.

Lyn will also have her exhibition on show and will give Art demostrations on both days.
Open on Saturday and sunday is the exciting newly completed Movie Poster Museum. Posters os movies from day gone by are available for sale.
SATURDAY: Two showings of the film . Matinee at 2:00pm and the evening at 8:30
Entry is $10 for adults - concessions are also available.
SATURDAY MORNING the 17th March the Monthly Cumnock Village Markets - lots of locally grown produce, craft and other goodies - Starts 8.30am
ALL DAY SATURDAY - the very impressive Cumnock Annual Show, a real Country Show with lots of animals exhibits and activities. Visit the website for full details

MOLONG: Peter Browne - Outback Artist (late of Silverton) has his new studio and Gallery open for public viewing on both days.

All Cellar Doors of the many exciting wineries from Nashdale and Borenore to Canowindra will be open all weekend on both days. You may have enjoyed the wine with dinner - now call in and visit where it was grown. Have a chat with the owners and sample some other wines.

Saturday evening at the Cudal Bowling Club there will be a Rodeo/BBQ night featuring "Bucky" the mechanical bull. Cost is $30 for adults and $15 for children and includes rides on the bull, a meal and Jukebox entertainment. More Info....

Cudal: The Cabonne Food, Wine and Culture Centre has a large selection of local craft, a wonderful reading area and an extensive historical display. Morning and afternoon teas and light refreshments served on both days.

Eugowra is famous as it is the place of the largest gold robbery in Australian history. It took place at Escort Rock, Eugowra when the coach carrying the gold was enroute from the diggings at Forbes to the banks in Orange. The Eugowra Museum and Bushranger Centre is well worth a visit. It really poses more question than it answers and has many exhibits not seen anywhere else in the world.

Age of Fishes Museum - open 10am to 4pm. See the fossils and hear the stories of this wonderful find in Canowindra of thousands of fossil fish 360 million years old. Open 10am to 4pm. - A special treat will be a traveling exhibition called "There is a War On" and it will be on display for both days of the weekend.

Animals on Bikes - Drive from Molong through Cumnock and Yeoval to Dubbo. Morning Tea or Lunch at Lou’s Café Cumnock.

Spend an hour or two with the great Australian Poet and Storyteller Banjo Paterson. Bring the family and a picnic lunch to the Banjo Paterson Bush Park at Yeoval. Walk where “Banjo “walked along Buckinbah Creek to the ruins of the original Paterson Homestead. Enjoy the Park with its collection of Sculptures and marvel at the Henry Moore bronze, the largest Sculpture in Australia. Walk through the adjacent Buckinbah Creek Reserve, a typical Box Woodland Reserve now being replanted.
